“From this day forward, let no human make war upon any other human. Let no corporate agency conspire against this new beginning. And let no man consort with alien powers. And to all the enemies of humanity, seek not to bar our way. For we shall win through, no matter the cost!”
Arkturus Mangsk (based off Arcturus Mengsk of the StarCraft series) is an leader like no other. I’ve decided not to provide a Codex entry or talk too much about his story, as I wouldn’t want to spoil it, but StarCraft fans know what to expect.
Essentially, the first act of the game (as it is divided into three, as a jab at the many games that do as much) is spent trying to end the Endless War, one theory of doing this is to unite the 8 Corporations and Mangsk (a former Red Corps general in PH, pictured right) thinks he’s got what it takes to do just that. Obviously I’m withholding a couple of details (so as not to spoil it, although you probably already know the twist), but needless to say he plays a pretty big role.
